Company focus

Farmaka is dedicated to performing innovative, quality research and development; our primary focus areas include pharmaceutical formulation development, dermatology and trichology. We emphasize discovering new drug delivery formulations in order to provide valid options to niche pharmaceutical markets as well as to mass-market over-the-counter segments. In addition, our R&D activities are also directed towards developing medical devices designed to enter the general OTC market.

Patents

Along with a long history of patent issuance, we have recently obtained a patent for the first and only diclofenac mouthwash formulated in a clear, palatable and alcohol-free solution.

Pipeline

Farmaka is committed to continue providing innovative solutions to the market and has several research projects in the pipeline focusing on pain management and dermatology. For example, we have a patented OTC diclofenac based mouthwash and oro-mucosal spray indicated for fast oral pain relief and a range of consumer health products and medical devices for dermatology and trichology, which are indicated for atopic dermatitis, dry skin, female androgenetic alopecia (FAGA), diaper rash, photoageing.
